Join our Financial Management Team as a Senior Accounting Technician and provide essential management accounting support to the Adult Social Care Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly budget monitoring reports.
- Support budget managers in delivering sustainable budgets through detailed analysis and financial advice.
- Ensure accurate posting of transactions on the council’s finance system (SAP).
- Maintain budgets for areas of responsibility in collaboration with budget managers.
- Complete monthly reconciliations of income and expenditure related to joint-funded arrangements.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent IT, Excel, and numeracy skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
- A recognised accounting qualification i.e. Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) fully qualified or equivalent.
