Position : Quality Assurance & Data Protection Officer

Permanent : 30 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance and Data Protection Officer to join UKSA.

The Quality Assurance and Data Protection Officer will lead on quality management and data protection across UKSA, embedding compliance, best practice and continuous improvement into UKSA’s culture.

Key purposes:

• To ensure UKSA provides consistent maritime training that is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements and expectations.
• To monitor, review and advise on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• To review performance and impact data against UKSA’s objectives.
• Administer the UKSA Quality Management System and maintain ISO9001 and BAC accreditations.
• Act as UKSA’s designated Data Protection Officer, providing independent advice and oversight to ensure compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
