- Role: Client Services Assistant
- Hours: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm
- Contract: Fixed-term; 6 month contract
We are currently seeking an experienced Client Services Assistant to join our expanding Ryde office. You will act as the first point of contact for our clients and other members of the public visiting our offices and provide them with a friendly and professional experience. This fixed-term role is full time and office-based in our Ryde office.
Role Responsibilities
As a Client Services Assistant, you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative to effectively carry out client services and administrative duties in accordance with company procedures and quality standards. These include:
- Providing excellent customer service to all clients and visitors to the office.
- Handling of all incoming telephone calls, including logging of calls and conveying of messages to the appropriate colleague.
- Distributing incoming post and deliveries; coordinating outgoing post and deliveries.
- Take card payments in person and over the phone in accordance with company procedure.
- Booking meeting rooms for appointments when required; ensure meeting rooms are prepared beforehand and tidy after their use.
- Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the client facing areas, reporting any issues to the Business Services / Operations team and rectifying where appropriate.
- Coordinating incoming faxes and emails using the firm’s IT system and undertaking typing and photocopying tasks as and when required.
Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience and take a professional, client-first approach. They will possess sound administrative skills and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional, and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure, projecting the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a comparable role.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (sponsorship will not be provided).
- Satisfactory DBS check required.
