At Captiva Homes, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality homes. As a Buyer, you’ll play a vital role in the success of our projects, ensuring that our construction teams have everything they need to build beautiful homes our customers will love.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the purchase of materials across all Captiva Homes' construction projects, ensuring value and quality.
• Support the delivery and commercial teams on-site, collaborating to establish best practices for procurement, supply, and delivery of materials.
• Visit sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, and to ensure the necessary materials are available on time.
• Build and manage strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring reliable service.
• Maintain and update material schedules, input purchase orders using our accounting system, and keep comprehensive records of ongoing projects.
• Proactively identify critical deadlines, anticipating and addressing the needs of the delivery teams to ensure that project timelines are met. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar procurement/buyer role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• An eager, hardworking, and humble attitude, with a genuine pride in delivering quality work.
• A team player with the drive, tenacity, and resilience to achieve business goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-confident and decisive, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
