CARE LEARNING CENTRE (CLC) are currently looking for ambitious dynamic enthusiastic Training Advisers (Assessors) in Health and Social to join the team.
To deliver engaging and inspiring training programmes and employment opportunities that support young people and adults to achieve their full potential.
Delivering across Apprenticeships, Traineeship and Adult Education programmes you will be joining a fast paced, growing team who are determined to ensure every person who joins our programmes make significant progress from their starting point and that no one is left behind.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within health and social care and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with learners, employers and CLC wider partners and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting adult and young people to achieve their full potential, no matter what their background, starting point or situation and have a strong awareness and understanding of safeguarding, mental health and wellbeing.
Our Training Advisers/Assessors are integral to the success of the team. In this role you will need to be able to draw on your own experiences in Health or Adult Care to provide support and training to learners using virtual/remote digital systems in their workplace enabling them to realise and achieve their career potential.
We are looking for Training Advisers/Assessors who will be home based to train a caseload of learners. For all candidates it is essential that you have excellent communication, IT and digital skills as well as the ability to work independently and manage your own time. Travelling may also be part of this role to deliver our blended learning programmes.
You should have a minimum of a Level 3 in health and social care or the equivalent. A driving licence with access to own vehicle. You will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Carry out virtual/remote teaching, learning and assessment activities
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely contact and teaching, learning, assessment and support sessions are conducted
Delivering learning programmes including functional skills, employability skills and digital skills
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress, performance and progression
Planning and implementing initial assessment, inductions and learner reviews
Support, advise and motivate learners
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs
Building and developing relationships with Employers
Occupational Qualification level 3 or above
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Must be flexible with engaging with learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours to meet employer and learner needs
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
Hold a recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33)
Ideally hold recognised Internal Verifiers qualification IQA/V1 or D34
Ideally hold a Level 3 or above teaching qualification
