Next Wave Care Group - Support Worker

At Next Wave Care Group, the people we support are at the centre of everything we do. We also recognise that supporting and valuing our staff is essential to delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate support. We are committed to creating an open, positive, and supportive workplace culture where staff feel listened to, respected, and empowered to do their best work.

We actively encourage open communication, reflective practice, and shared learning, and we promote a culture where staff can raise concerns, seek guidance, and contribute ideas without fear, in line with our safeguarding and whistleblowing responsibilities. We believe that strong, well-supported teams deliver the best outcomes for the people we support, and our culture is built on collaboration, accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement.

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support within adult mental health services and Ofsted-registered supported accommodation.

This is a Support Worker role, and there is no personal care required. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living skills, emotional regulation, and access to community-based resources, including housing, education, employment, and health services. You will advocate on behalf of the people we support, respond appropriately to crisis situations, and ensure that safeguarding and risk management procedures are followed at all times.

This role involves lone working within a home environment, as well as close collaboration with a skilled and supportive team, to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where individuals can thrive. Maintaining accurate and confidential records, professional boundaries, and compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulatory standards is essential to the role.

The position is offered on a rota basis, covering days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in duties, as part of a 24/7 service. Typically, full-time roles include working three shifts per week, which supports a healthy work-life balance, with overtime and additional sleep-ins available to increase earnings. Bank/ part-time related roles offer flexibility to meet your needs.
