Due to expansion DDGA Ltd is seeking to recruit an apprentice / trainee Diamond Drilling Operative to join our expanding Civils and Geotechnical Contractors business.

DDGA (Diamond Drilling, Grouting & Anchoring) is a civil and geotechnical engineering contractor, delivering specialist services including:

• Diamond core drilling;
• Concrete cutting;
• Slope & retaining wall stabilisation;
• Structural repairs & strengthening;
• Ground investigation.

This position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday – Friday 0730-1630. Overtime will be available dependant on project requirements and on occasion some weekend working maybe required.

Our office and workshop are base on the outskirts of Ryde, work is predominantly island based with occasional work on the mainland.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given, and you’ll be expected to work towards a NVQ level 2.

This role is varied with a wide range of tasks. You’ll be reporting directly to the site supervisor.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Work experience with in the building trade;
• A strong work ethic and commitment to high standards in both quality of works and health and safety;
• Able to pass DBS check; and,
• A full UK drivers licence (preferred).
