Yokogawa Marex has an exciting new opportunity for a forward thinking, quality first QHSSE Advisor.
In the role of QHSSE Advisor you will report to the Divisional Director, being responsible for ensuring compliance to the Quality Management System, covering all aspects of QHSSE, including the delivery of our global software products and solutions. You will work across the organisation, including sales and marketing, software development and test, software support and the management team to ensure compliance, support in the resolution of non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis and continually improve our processes and procedures.
You will build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the global Yokogawa organization and support the Yokogawa Marex Management Team to achieve company goals and objectives.

As a QHSSE Advisor you will:
- Facilitate external audits (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO27001, ISO14001) on our Yokogawa Management System
- Perform internal audits (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO27001, ISO14001) on our Yokogawa Management System
- Keep abreast of external developments to create and amend QHSSE policies, standards and objectives, to implement policies and procedures assuring compliance with corporate, industry and government standards and regulations
- Review and sign off on the quality of global software products and solutions
- Monitor and review project performance from launch through to closure
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements through all stages of the Plan Do Check Act cycle
- Provide QHSSE training, tool and techniques to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain pro-active QHSSE relationships between the organisation and stakeholders
- Manage internal QHSSE related process improvement projects leading to more effective and efficient processes
We are looking for a colleague with:
- Experience in QHSSE, ideally gained in a software development organisation
- Experience of carrying out audits to ensure compliance to quality management systems
- Five years working experience in the QHSSE-work field, preferable in a technical project organisation
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- The ability to build trust, communicate effectively at all levels, build consensus and achieve buy-in
- Enthusiasm, be customer focused, thrive on problem solving, be a team player, and have the desire for continuous quality improvement
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience of the Information Security Standard ISO27001
- Experience of the Environmental Impact Standard ISO14001
- Experience of the Information Security Standard ISO45001
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a (preferably) business administration or technical program
- Experience of the Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC)
