The Role:
As an Engineering Lecturer, you’ll lead hands-on, high-impact teaching sessions in mechanical engineering and machinery operations. You’ll guide students through the exciting world of gears, hydraulics, engines, and automation, helping them understand how machines work and how to make them better.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in mechanical engineering and machinery systems
• Create practical learning experiences using real-world equipment and simulations
• Support students in developing technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation
About You:
You’re passionate about engineering and love sharing your knowledge. You have hands-on experience with machinery and a desire to help students grow into confident, capable professionals. You’re a mentor, a motivator, and a maker of futures.
What You’ll Need:
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in machinery operation and mechanical systems
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to student success and lifelong learning
