Artworker / Digital Print Operative (Training Provided)

Hours: Full-time (37.75 hours per week)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:37 – 16:22
• Friday: 07:37 – 12:22 (early finish)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a junior to mid-level Artworker who is eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career in both technical artwork and digital print production.

This role will initially focus on artwork, with full training provided to progress into a balanced 50/50 Artwork / Digital Print position over time.

If you are detail-oriented, technically minded, and motivated to learn, we will provide the tools, training, and support to help you grow.

Key Responsibilities

Starting Out (Artwork Focus)

• Create and prepare production-ready artwork
• Work from briefs to ensure designs are accurate and suitable for manufacture
• Support the Sales team and colleagues in gaining artwork approval
• Prepare files for print and production
• Organise and maintain artwork file systems

As You Develop (Full Training Provided)

• Learn to operate large-format digital printers (UV & solvent)
• Set up artwork correctly for print production
• Check colour consistency, quality, and accuracy
• Support additional production processes such as laminating and cutting

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Some experience in artwork, design, or graphics (commercial or educational)
• Basic skills in CorelDRAW or similar design software
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Positive attitude with a team-focused mindset

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Exposure to print, signage, or manufacturing environments
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Interest in hands-on production work
