Team Administrator – Quality
Permanent, Full time: 39 hours per week
Salary: £24,463 per annum
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our Quality Team here at the Isle of Wight College. The team plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the stands of our educational offerings.
About the Role:
As the Team Administrator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the quality team, as the role will see you carrying out a full range of activities to ensure the smooth running of the quality department. You will support the development, monitoring and auditing of quality systems, along with ensuring the continuous improvement of our quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Some of your responsibilities will include;
• Provide administrative support to the Quality Team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
• Maintain and update quality assurance documentation and records.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
• Liaise with staff, students, and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate information.
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and projects.
• Manage and respond to queries related to quality assurance processes.
• Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will;
• Hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
• Hold a relevant level 2 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent, or be willing to work towards one.
• Have proven experience in an administrative role, preferably with an educational setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to details and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes in education is desirable but not essential
