Hours: 39 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
The Isle of Wight College is seeking a Student Experience Administrator to join our dynamic Welcome Hub team on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the Role
As a Student Experience Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents/carers, external professionals, and members of the public. You will provide a professional and welcoming service, managing a wide range of enquiries both in person and remotely.
You will play a key role in supporting the Admissions and Bursary functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for applicants and current students alike. You will also assist with reception duties, helping to maintain the high standards of customer service expected at the College’s main front-facing hub.
Your work will involve handling telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries; supporting application and enrolment processes; maintaining accurate records; and providing initial information, advice, and guidance to new and returning students.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or equivalent level.
- A Level 2 qualification in Customer Service, Team Leading, or Business Administration (or willingness to work towards this).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment with a commitment to high-quality service.
- Confidence in using digital systems and maintaining accurate data.
- An understanding of student support services including admissions, enrolment, and financial support such as bursaries.
