What will you be doing?
- Responsibility for improving the outcomes of all children and young people across the Island.
- Line manage the School Improvement team, including Governor Services.
- Developing a traded service.
- Work with external stakeholders to improve the opportunities for our children and young people.
- Take responsibility for developing and monitoring service planning, including KPI’s.
- Represent the department within the various meetings and partnerships.
- Work with senior colleagues to drive forward the Education Strategy.
- Improve the outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
About you
- A qualified teacher, with significant school senior leadership experience.
- Able to work as part of a team, taking responsibility for areas they lead on.
- Ability to access face to face meetings locally.
- High quality verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to ensuring children and young people across the Isle of Wight achieve their best outcomes and develop into independent adults.
