We are looking to recruit inspirational Science and Criminology Lecturers to support the delivery of these topics to our learners. You will also contribute to the development of our student’s employability and wider life/independence skills.
About The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging teaching across a range of Science and Criminology qualifications. This includes the Level 3 Forensic Science, Level 3 Criminology, Level 2 Applied Science and GCSE Biology. The post holders will play a key role in maintaining teaching quality and learner experience across both 16–19 and adult pathways, ensuring students develop a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and skills. These roles support the continued expansion of Science and Criminology-related curriculum areas and is essential to sustaining planned growth, meeting timetabling demands, and upholding academic standards within the department.
Key responsibilities:
· To plan and deliver lessons to a range of classes, maintaining a high-quality student learning experience
· To formally assess, giving appropriate feedback (written and oral) and maintaining records of students' progress and development
· Undertaking academic tutorial duties, supporting students on an individual basis through academic difficulties
About you:
To be successful on these roles, you will need:
· Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths
· Minimum Level 3 in a related subject, i.e. Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
· Minimum Level 3 in a Criminology related subject
· Hold an Endorsed Teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards within 3 years
