This post is based at Naturezones
Job Description:
The aim of this job is to re-introduce Naturezones to Island communities. Pre Covid, Naturezones had a good relationship with schools and community groups.
These relationships have lost their momentum. We require the right person to reestablish these lost connections, to reach out to these groups and make sure they are fully aware of the educational opportunities we provide.
The successful applicant will have experience in communicating with all types of communities. They will be able to give presentations and talk eloquently about Naturezones and the educational experiences that we offer. They will make presentations to teachers, book visits to Naturezones and be organised. In addition the successful person will have excellent conservation/nature knowledge.
The ability to get around and attend relevant meetings with the specific purpose of promoting Naturezones. They will organize the school visits and CPD sessions toNaturezones.

Have a friendly and approachable disposition while engaging with community groups and the general public.
Evaluation and planning skills . Evaluation will be an important part of this post as it will be used in our reporting to the Heritage Lottery

Responsibilities. The Outreach Co-ordinator is responsible to the Project Manager
The successful applicant will have an up to date DBS or agree to a DBS check
