As the Island’s largest college, we’re expanding our curriculum to meet the growing needs of our learners and community. We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our Motor Vehicle team, delivering high-quality teaching and workplace support across a range of City & Guilds qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics.
In this role, you will;
- Inspire and support students both in the classroom and on-site
- Conduct regular reviews, assessments, and observations.
- You’ll bring your industry expertise into the learning environment, helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
We welcome applicants from industry and offer full support with training and development to help you transition into teaching. Our goal is to ensure you’re fully equipped to deliver the curriculum and support learners effectively.
What You Will Need:
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
- A Level 3 qualification in a Motor Vehicle-related subject or equivalent
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one within 3 years)
- Practical experience in the motor vehicle industry
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload under pressure
