We are seeking an experienced and organised individual to join our Teaching team as a Sessional Maths Cover Tutor to support the team in engaging and inspiring students, teaching across College with a specific focus on GCSE Maths and Functional Skills.
About The Role:
As a key part of our team, you will create engaging and inspiring learning experiences for our students. Your innovative style and approach to learning will be demonstrated through your enthusiasm to motivate and inspire, tailoring your teaching to take account of the wide range of backgrounds and varied academic and vocational aspirations of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Sessional Maths Cover Tutor, you will:
· Deliver lessons to a range of learners, maintaining a high-quality student learning experience within Maths
· Contextualise the delivery of lessons and continuously assess learner progress in class (formative assessment), giving feedback and maintaining appropriate records
· Ensure all related administration is completed on time and to the required standard
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Maths
· Level 2 Qualification in English
· Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards
· Previous experience teaching Maths/Functional Skills/GCSE students across a broad range of levels
