Salary: AP05 up to £26,666
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
Fixed term role ending 31st July 2027
About the Role
As an Industry Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for securing and coordinating high-quality industry placements and work experience opportunities for learners. Working closely with employers and curriculum teams, you will ensure placements provide valuable learning experiences, meet safeguarding and health and safety requirements, and are supported by accurate documentation. You will also monitor learner attendance and progress to help ensure successful placement outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Coordinate and secure industry placements and work experience opportunities for learners, ensuring placement targets are achieved.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to maximise engagement, satisfaction, and repeat placement opportunities.
• Promote industry placements to new and existing employers through visits, events, and networking activities to secure sufficient placement opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum, apprenticeship, and business development teams to support wider employer engagement initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to employer, learner, and curriculum team enquiries.
• Ensure all placements comply with safeguarding, health and safety, insurance, and risk assessment requirements.
• Monitor placement quality, learner attendance, and progress, ensuring reviews and monitoring activities are completed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and management information systems.
• Support the promotion of industry placements and work experience at College events, including open days and employer engagement activities.
