Medina College including the Island VI Form is seeking to appoint an Examinations Officer and Data Assistant to be responsible for the administration, organisation and smooth running of public and internal examinations for the post 16 site.
Although the post is advertised as 16 hours per week, there is a need, and therefore an expectation that the post holder will work additional hours during trial and real exams seasons. This will be the equivalent of full time for those weeks, which will be paid on an additional hours claim form.
The post holder will also work with the Exams Officer for Medina College (11-16) and therefore there is a need to be available to work across more than one site.
Medina College is part of HISP MAT. The MAT is early in its growth and the Colleges are fast-paced, fun and caring environments in which to work and there are excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. We believe in building excellent educational environments that inspire and unlock potential in all of its school communities. There are multiple schools within the Trust, covering the age ranges from nursery to 19 with plans to expand and grow quickly across our geographical location.
If you feel you have what it takes to be part of our dynamic team, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please note that we cannot accept applications which are not submitted on the official application forms, and we do not accept CVs under any circumstances.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. Online searches and references will be taken up for those candidates short-listed for interview. The successful candidate will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
