Due to increasing numbers, we are looking for caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join both our Under 3's and pre-school teams. 

We are looking for practitioners who have:

A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare; however candidates with a Level 2 Qualification, relevant experience and a willingness to undergo further training will also be considered

A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices which are essential to ensure our children receive high standards of care and education

Good written and verbal communication skills 

Experience working with Under 2's or 2-4 year olds depending on role

A Paediatric First Aid Qualification or a willingness to train

A genuine wish to work with young children and make a positive difference to their lives by providing them with the foundations they need for life-long learning

Confident 

Motivated, dependable and flexible

Friendly and approachable to children and parents/carers 

Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative

Positive can do and will do attitude

Caring and have an honest and open way of thinking

Must be able to work in all weathers; there is no such thing as bad weather only unsuitable clothing

A willingness to continue professional development

All positions are subject to enhanced DBS checks, suitability checks and satisfactory references. Where possible references will be checked before interview. 

What you will be doing:

Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families as part of a key-person role

Working with the team to create a safe, inclusive, nurturing and stimulating environment

Supporting children's development through high-quality care and engaging activities

Upholding safeguarding, child protection and all other setting policies

We operate 50 weeks a year (closed for two weeks over Christmas and all bank holidays) and our working hours are 7.30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday and successful candidates must be available to work within these times.

Fun to Learn

Fun to Learn is a family run setting which caters for children from 6 months to 12 years. We have an under 3's unit and a pre-school room as well as offering breakfast club, after-school club and holiday club for 50 weeks per year. We aim to work with all families to support each child to develop to their full potential and will seek support as required.
