Pre-School @ St Helens has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified level 3 practitioner to join our small pre-school team.
The position is 30-40 hours a week, term time only.
You will need to be able to work as part of a team and independently. Have good communication skills to support and build relationships with the children and their families. You will have key children, so sound knowledge of the EYFS is essential and knowledge of current legislation relating to childcare and Ofsted requirements. You will need to be enthusiastic and motivated and be willing to support with the planning and daily running of the pre-school activities and care of the children. You will carry out observations on your key children using our online tracking system.
You will need to obtain an enhanced DBS check and be willing to undertake Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training. We are focussed on continual professional development so you will need to be happy to attend/undertake regular training.
We have a strong commitment to safeguarding and take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously and complete robust checks on all staff. Candidates who have lived or worked abroad will require additional checks.
