Chatterbox is a well-established private full time childcare facility, offering nursery and preschool places for children from birth to five years. We are open 52 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The setting is based in a large Georgian house with more than twelve well-resourced rooms, which are bright, airy, and decorated with the childrens work. The outside space provides a safe, private garden which can be enjoyed in all weathers. Chatterbox provides a happy and stimulating environment, with the right mix of structure, education, and social time to help every child reach their full potential and go on to have the best life chances, which is achieved by providing excellent care and good quality early years education from the start of their journey. The staffing team at Chatterbox put the children first, they work together to make every day stimulating and exciting, including story and rhyme time, outside play, adult led learning activities, arts, crafts, messy play, and plenty of opportunity to play and socialise. Children are encouraged to develop their skills and personality that make them who they are, to be praised for their achievements and to support them through managing their feelings and behaviours. Freshly cooked food and snacks are provided by the cook and at the end of every day the cleaner comes in to make sure the setting is kept clean. Chatterbox has built an excellent reputation over the past 30 years.
