Chatterbox Nursery and Preschool are looking for a new team member.

Job Role
Working with children from birth to 5 years.
The Baby Department, for children from birth to 2 years, has its own dedicated space with panoramic sea views, separate sleeping facilities and a choice of three playrooms.
During the day you will provide a safe stimulating environment encouraging babies to learn and play independently and with others, supporting them with their physical skills, sitting, crawling and walking. You will provide them with the opportunity to enjoy sensory messy play, adult led play and learning activities, and to encourage their communication skills with daily circle times including story and rhyme time.
Meal and snack time provide you with an excellent social opportunity and time to help them through the weaning process to gain independence with using utensils to feed themselves as well as promoting a lifelong healthy relationship with food.
Add to this, nappy changing and personal care, outside play, and nap time the day is packed with endless opportunities for you to contribute to the success of this department.
Our preschool, for children from 2 to 5 years, is spread over two floors with several individual playrooms, including a story room, messy playroom, large social spaces, classrooms for school readiness and access to a safe well equipped garden.
Your duties will include, supporting a happy, safe play environment where the adults are providing good role models to help children develop their social skills, leaning to share and play with others, encouraging good speech and language skills and promoting positive behaviour.
The daily activities consist of circle time which includes, story’s, rhymes and phonics, creative play, adult led learning activities, child led group and independent play, meal and snack times, toileting and personal care, and outside play.
The key Person role involves building a relationship with the children to effectively monitor their progress and to offer support and guidance to enable them to thrive and progress.
Qualifications/Experience
Applicants must hold a recognised Early Years Qualification
Level 3 or above is preferable
Previous experience working with children

Pay is above minimum wage rates (according to age and experience)
