Carisbrooke College are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher. Part of HISP MAT, our purpose is to provide courageous, transformative education for all. Celebrating diversity and inclusion, we aim to create supportive environments that eliminate barriers to learning and empower every individual.
We are looking for teachers who embody our values: Courage, embracing challenges with resilience; Ambition, striving to unlock the full potential of every child; Excellence, committing to the highest standards in teaching, learning, and leadership; Sustainability, nurturing long-term growth and wellbeing; Equity, championing fairness and inclusion; and Pupils First, putting students at the heart of every decision to ensure they thrive academically and personally.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support the personal and academic development of all students, and contribute to high standards of attainment, behaviour, and aspiration. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals, including supporting students with additional learning needs through Individual Education Plans.
As part of our Trust, you will participate in departmental and whole-school training, performance management programmes, and professional development initiatives, sharing best practice to continually enhance teaching and learning. If you have any questions about the role, please contact Simon Roux, Curriculum Lead, in the first instance. An appointment for you to come and look around the school and meet the Senior Leaders can be arranged.
