Childcare Practitioner - Fun to Learn

We are currently looking for a passionate, dedicated and experienced Childcare Practitioner to join our friendly team at Fun to Learn in Newport.

The position will be approximately 30-35 hours per week all year round and the role will involve working hours between

7.30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

 What you’ll be doing:

·         Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families,

·         Working with the team to create a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment,

·         Supporting children’s development through high-quality care and engaging activities,

·         Working as part of a supportive team to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained,

·         Upholding safeguarding and child protection procedures

 We’re looking for a practitioner who;

·         Has a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years,

·         Has a warm smile to make the children feel at ease,

·         Is caring and has an honest and open way of thinking,

·         Is motivated, dependable and flexible,

·         Is a strong team player with good verbal and written communication skills,

·         Has a good understanding of how to safeguard children,

·         Can follow policies and procedures required by the setting and regulatory bodies,

·         Has a Paediatric First Aid qualification or a willingness to train,

·         Really wants to work with children and make a positive difference to their lives by providing them with the foundations they need for lifelong learning
