We are currently looking for a passionate, dedicated and experienced Childcare Practitioner to join our friendly team at Fun to Learn in Newport.

The position will be all year round and the hours will be between 7.30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

 What you’ll be doing:

·         Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families,

·         Working with the team to create a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment,

·         Supporting children’s development through high-quality care and engaging activities,

·         Working as part of a supportive team to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained,

·         Upholding safeguarding and child protection procedures

We’re looking for a practitioner who;

·         Has a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years,

·         Has at least 1 years’ experience working with babies and under 3’s,

·         Is caring, honest, motivated, dependable and flexible,

·         Is a strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills,

·         Has a good understanding of how to safeguard children,

·         Can follow policies and procedures required by the setting and regulatory bodies,

·         Has a Paediatric First Aid qualification or a willingness to train,

·         Really wants to work with children and make a positive difference to their lives by providing them with the foundations they

       need for lifelong learning
