Are you ready to inspire the next generation of professionals? At HTP Apprenticeship College, we need an additional person to support our Professional cookery programmes delivery, and we’re looking for someone passionate, motivated, and ready to make a difference.
About the Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position delivering engaging training sessions, combining knowledge-based coaching, practical skills and cookery and potentially workplace assessment. You’ll predominantly support learners on full time college-based courses at L2 studying programmes. You’ll play a vital role in guiding learners through their journey, helping them gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in industry and become a valued member of society and the community.
Vacancies are full time permanent positions of 37 hours per week. Part-time positions of a minimum of 4 days / 30 hours would be considered.
What we’re looking for:
· Relevant industry experience: Ideally at Head chef level or supervisory experience in a kitchen environment with qualifications at a minimum of BTEC / NVQ L3 or equivalent in Food Preparation and cookery.
· Passion for supporting others: A commitment to helping apprentices thrive in their roles.
· Great communication and organisation: You’re confident working independently and building relationships with learners and local employers.
· Transport: You’ll need access to your own vehicle to visit workplacements
· Maths and English: A good academic level of both Maths and English (minimum GCSE Grade C or 4 or equivalent).
· Motivation: You should thrive in a results-driven environment.
Desirable (But Not Essential):
Experience or qualifications in assessing, verifying, or teaching would be an advantage. However, if you’re eager to learn and determined to succeed, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to gain these qualifications.

Hours of Work:
· Monday to Thursday: 9am–5pm & Friday: 9am–4:30pm
