Assistant Family Liaison Officer (Secondary)

32.5 hours per week, Term time only
We are looking to appoint a self motivated and well organised Assistant Family Liaison Officer on our secondary site.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Family Liaison Officer, with supportand guidance, to offer practical help and emotional support to pupils and families; provide a range of administrative duties to ensure that a comprehensive safeguarding support service is provided;and support the Family Liaison Officer with their work on preventative and early intervention activities. Within this role, you will make a strong contribution to student’s learning and achievement,and provide important support to enable parents to take responsibility for their child’s educationand welfare.
This role will be well suited for candidates who have safeguarding and child protection experience,sound knowledge and understanding of child growth development the parenting needs of children,are highly organised, can provide an effective administrative service and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
