Veterinary Receptionist
We are looking to welcome new receptionists to our small and friendly team.
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and therefore we are looking to recruit a warm, friendly and professional individual to take on this role.
Your job as a receptionist will encompass the following tasks and more:
- Answering the telephone and dealing with incoming emails
- Registering new clients, new pets and booking appointments
- Keeping reception and communal areas clean, tidy and well organised
- Dealing with financial transactions, end of day cashing up
- Ensuring smooth, accurate communication between the practice and clients.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent numeracy and literacy skills, be adaptable to learn our veterinary software program as well as having experience using Microsoft office. They must show exceptional attention to detail in order to maintain our high standards of customer care and be able to multi-task.
Island VetCare prides itself on a high standard of client care and therefore, although previous veterinary/medical front of house experience is not essential, it is important that you have had experience in a customer facing role before and that you are friendly, professional, welcoming and approachable.
This role is full-time but part-time will be considered. Hours to be agreed but will include Saturday mornings. You will need to be flexible to cover your colleagues during holidays or sickness. Hourly rate is £11.44 (for those over 21)
