UK Operations Coordinator at Flying Fish UK Ltd
Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight.
Job Type: Full-Time (One-month trial period)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (Some flexibility required, including occasional weekends)
Role Overview
We are looking for a capable and well-organised UK Operations Coordinator to act as a Personal Assistant to the Operations Manager and support the smooth running of our UK course programmes. This varied role blends administrative tasks with hands-on operational support, and suits someone with strong IT skills, excellent communication, and a calm, team-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day administration and logistics

Communicate professionally with customers, staff, and suppliers

Book instructors, suppliers, and manage course scheduling

Prepare and register RYA, STCW, and Flying Fish certificates

Liaise with accommodation providers and conduct basic checks

Manage pre-course information and customer communications (via Google Classroom and Hubspot database)

Maintain and update website content

Support meet-and-greet activities and course briefings
Who We’re Looking For

A highly organised individual with proven IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Someone with strong written English, including good spelling and grammar

A team player who communicates well but remains humble and approachable

Experience in a role involving organising people or processes

Basic understanding of the marine industry is a plus
