An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Payments Team to appoint a career graded development role as a Payments Officer working within a data and numbers driven environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our high achieving Payments Team who are responsible for all aspects of Payments across the Council and collection and management of debt. You will be involved in the end-to-end process and provide support in the recovery of any overdue invoices.
As part of this busy team, you will need to be proficient with ICT, a fantastic communicator with good negotiation skills, highly organised and have a keen eye for detail. You should have the ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of good customer service, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work effectively within a team.
Working days can be further discussed; however, the hours will need to be worked over 3 full days including a Wednesday and Thursday.
