Student Experience Administrator – Term Time Only (40 weeks per year)

£18,763.12 per annum, plus allowance for rolled up holiday

39 hours per week, 40 weeks per year + 10 days cover (£12.03ph)

The Isle of Wight College is seeking a Student Experience Administrator to join our dynamic Welcome Hub team. 

About the role 

As the Student Experience Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents/carers, external professionals and members of the public. You will provide a professional and welcoming service covering a range of enquiries within the Welcome Hub. You will be part of our applications team and collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth student journey. You will manage enquiries via telephone, email and in-person, offering advice and assistance. 

About you 

To succeed in this role you will need:

Minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or equivalent level.

Level 2 Customer Services/Team Leader professional qualification or willingness to work towards this.

To work to tight time scales to support the smooth running of the applications process. 

Support student financial enquiries related to tuition fees, bursaries and other funding options.

Provide initial Information, advice and guidance to all of our students, new and existing. 

Have excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer facing role. 

Experience in maintaining and using digital systems, to ensure the accuracy of record keeping. 

Assist with student admissions processes including application, handling document verification and enrolment.
