Vikoma is a world leading environmental business. We design and manufacture oil spill response and oil recovery equipment. Our expert team of 60 supports an international market from our Isle of Wight based facility.
The Industrial part of our business designs and manufactures oily water skimming systems for use in waste water applications such as refineries for oil majors. These contracts have a high level of technical and procedural documentation.
Working as part of our Projects Team and based in East Cowes Isle of Wight, this is a busy and key hands on role and will be the first point of contact for customers after order receipt. All enquiries, documentation submissions and changes will be channelled through this role.

We can offer you a permanent contract working a 38 hour week at our offices in East Cowes.

Main responsibilities:
- Focal point for all communications, chases and documentation submissions and comments.
- Preparation and maintenance of project plan, liaising with customers and internal departments.
- Understand terms and conditions of contract, structure contract activities to maximise cash inflow and advise finance team when invoices cash be raised.
- Co-ordinate responses from internal departments and work with them to ensure activities fit in project plan and contract requirements.
- Identify and process any contact variations informing the customer and gaining their approval.
- Organise external inspections and customer acceptance visits in line with contract requirements.
- Preparation, submission and amendment of documentation required by the contract.
Desired skills:
- Previous experience managing technical projects
- Attention to detail as accuracy of information which is vital for all aspects of role
- Competent use of IT including Microsoft software (Excel essential)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member as well as individually
- Ability to follow policy and procedures
The role will involve the use of our MRP system for which training will be provided.
