Job Title: Administrative & Operations Assistant

Location: Sandown 

Job Type: Part-time Monday-Friday 9-2.30 (with potential to increase)

We are a long-established, family-run manufacturer and wholesaler operating in the marine and leisure market, supplying many of the UK’s largest boat, motorhome, and caravan builders. We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team in a varied administrative and hands-on role. Working in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of office and operational duties.

About the Role

You’ll play a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of the business, supporting administration, operations, and our online presence. No two days are the same, and you’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders and invoices
  • Managing goods-in procedures and checking deliveries
  • Processing and verifying orders via customer portals
  • Preparing dispatch documentation, including delivery notes and labels
  • Supporting key personnel with general administrative tasks
  • Assisting in the warehouse with packing and processing orders when required
  • Managing and updating the company website (product updates, content, general administration)

Skills & Experience

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Sage or other accounting software (preferred)
  • Basic website administration experience (preferred)
  • Any skills in improving website performance, content, or usability would be a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to be hands-on and support across different areas of the business

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:30pm
  • Hours are negotiable and may increase over time with experience
