Fortis Energy is a leading, independent commercial energy brokerage. Founded by the present directors in 2010, the company has established a reputable client base both locally and on a national basis from its offices at Fortis House, Westridge Business Park, Ryde.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Office Administrator and Trainee Commercial Energy Broker to join our small, friendly and successful team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with data and numbers, takes pride in producing accurate work, and has a logical, problem-solving approach to tasks. Accuracy, prioritisation of workloads, efficiency and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this position.
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels and will provide ongoing training and support to develop the successful candidate into a Commercial Energy Broker.
Contract: Permanent, following a 6-month probation period
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum depending on experience
Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays
About the Role
Working in our modern, air-conditioned, open-plan offices, you will provide administrative support to the team while developing knowledge of the commercial energy market. The role involves processing information accurately, maintaining detailed records, assisting with client accounts, and supporting the delivery of high-quality service to our customers.

Previous experience in administration, customer service or a client-focused environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. We are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and a desire to build a long-term career.
