Osbornes, a well-established business in Ryde, is looking for a reliable and experienced Clothing Alterations & Shop Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a part-time role combining hands-on clothing repairs and alterations with general shop duties and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out alterations and repairs to various types of clothing
- Assist customers with fittings and queries regarding tailoring
- Support day-to-day retail operations, including sales, stock management, and keeping the shop tidy
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience in clothing alterations and repairs (essential)
- Confident using sewing machines and other tools of the trade
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
- Ability to multitask and work independently
