AUTUMN & WINTER STAFF DRIVE

Casual Pantry Team Members | Royal Yacht Squadron

As we move into our autumn and winter season, the Royal Yacht Squadron is looking for Casual Team Members to join our Pantry Team in Cowes.

Our autumn and winter calendar includes Club dining, private functions, member events and larger occasions, and we are looking for additional team members who can work flexibly across the season.

This is an opportunity to work within one of the world’s most respected private members’ clubs as part of an experienced hospitality team delivering a consistently high standard of service.

Eligibility & Working Requirements

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Due to the operational requirements of these positions, applicants must also be able to undertake the full duties and working hours of the role, which include:

• Serving wine, spirits, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages within a licensed hospitality environment
• Working evening functions and late finishes beyond 11pm when required
• Working extended shifts during busy events and functions, in accordance with UK working time requirements
• Working flexibly across weekdays, evenings and weekends depending on the Club’s operational requirements

All team members are expected to work in accordance with the Club’s licensing conditions, responsible alcohol service standards, safeguarding requirements and professional conduct policies.

The Role

Working as part of the Pantry Team, you will support the day-to-day hospitality operation across the Squadron, including:

• Member and guest food and beverage service
• Formal and informal dining
• Wine and drinks service
• Bar service
• Private functions and Club events
• Setting up and clearing dining rooms, bars and function spaces
• Maintaining the presentation and service standards expected throughout the Squadron

Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar or event experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Attitude, reliability, professionalism and a willingness to learn are equally important.
