We are an island based company which has been trading for over 40 years and are looking for a fully qualified electrician to join our team, we cover all aspects of electrical contracting type works, predominantly carrying out domestic electrical installation, commercial and some industrial, new installation & refurbishment works along with maintenance and repair services to commercial and residential clients. With a team of skilled and experienced electricians, the company is committed to delivering excellent service and customer satisfaction.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

Duties to include - 

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power, and communication systems.
• Test and diagnose electrical problems using a variety of testing devices and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including the Wiring Regulations and Health and Safety regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines and budgets.
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining relationships with clients.

About you - 

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation work inc inspection & testing 
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing (desired)
• NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent 
• 18th Edition
• In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes
• Strong understanding of all electrical systems 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid Clean  UK driving licence
