Captiva Homes is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team through our apprenticeship programme.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople on live housing developments across the Isle of Wight, you'll learn valuable skills, gain industry-recognised qualifications and become part of a team that takes pride in building quality homes.
Available Apprenticeships
Groundworker Apprentice
Learn the skills needed to prepare construction sites for new homes, including drainage installation, foundations, paving and external works. You'll work as part of the groundworks team and gain experience using tools and equipment safely while helping create the foundations and infrastructure that every home is built upon.
Dry Lining Apprentice
Learn how to install plasterboard systems, construct internal walls and ceilings, and prepare homes for the finishing stages of construction. You'll develop the precision, technical knowledge and attention to detail needed to achieve high-quality finishes throughout our homes.
Carpentry Apprentice
Gain practical experience in first and second-fix carpentry, including installing timber frames, doors, skirting boards, architraves and other finishing touches. You'll develop a wide range of carpentry skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople on live construction projects.
Ceramic Tiler Apprentice
Learn how to prepare surfaces, measure and set out areas, cut and install tiles, and create high-quality finishes in kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces. You'll develop the accuracy, craftsmanship and attention to detail needed to produce professional results.
Painter & Decorator Apprentice
Develop the skills required to prepare surfaces, apply paints and finishes, and deliver the final decorative touches that bring our homes to life. You'll learn how quality workmanship, presentation and attention to detail contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall appearance of our developments.

Salary & Working Hours
Salary: National Apprenticeship Wage
Hours: 35 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
