We are looking for an enthusiastic Coffee Shop Manager with a talent for baking and cooking. This dynamic role involves managing our coffee shop's day-to-day operations while actively contributing to the kitchen. You will have the opportunity to infuse creativity into our menu, developing innovative dishes and beverages that are not only delicious but also leave a lasting impression on our customers.

Hours

  • Sunday 9:30am to 4.15pm
  • Monday 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Tuesday 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Wednesday 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Total hours 36.25

Extra hours would be required to cover holidays and sickness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Create and update the menu with fresh baked goods and cooking specials.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock management to ensure the kitchen is always prepared and fully stocked.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
  • Engage with customers to build relationships
  • Train staff members on coffee preparation, baking techniques, and customer service.

 

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Award in Food Allergy Awareness.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Level 3 Food Safety Certificate.
  • Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Passion for baking and cooking, with a strong understanding of various techniques and recipes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for trying different ideas.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food handling, health and hygiene.
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
