Salary: £40,000 - £45,000                     

An opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join our Warner Hotel based in Bembridge on the East Coast of the Isle of Wight.

As the Head Chef you will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all kitchens adhere to company Health and Safety standards. You will oversee a team of up to 28 Chefs, Kitchen Assistants and a Stores Manager so must have a passion for food, service and above all development.

With a brigade this size you will need to be able to communicate across all levels to ensure that the team are organised, planned and that service is smooth and effective.

What skills do I need? 

• Understands the importance of working with a branded menu.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Ensure the consistent production of high-quality food through all hotel food outlets.
• Develop positive customer relations through proactive interaction with Guests, Team Members, contractors, and suppliers
• Resolve, promptly and completely, any issues that may arise in the kitchen or related areas among Guests and Team Members
• Manage department operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and waste management
