We are looking for someone not so ordinary for Barista PLUS Cafe Service and Chef  or Cook or Kitchen Maestro just don’t call me late for dinner.

A Barista - Cafe lead person who can balance technical coffee skills with the personality of a 1960s soul-searcher and the energy of a fitness coach. A most unique opportunity for a very different approach on the local cafe scene The T2 vDub Cafe.

BarBossa Galley & Rum Bar  - casual dining cuisine with international vibes– Asian noodles, Dimsum, Burgers, Pizza, Tacos -

We are part of PINNACLE... directly adjacent to the Pinnacle Fitness Studio and Pinnacle Shops. 

Our customers are:

·       Hotel guests seeking wake up coffee and light breakfast

·       Fitness Studio members seeking rehydration and refueling after sessions,

·       Walk ins and Shoppers seeking something out of the ordinary.

·       Hotel Lounge / Bar guests seeking small plates or more

·       Restaurant visitors

Skill sets required: These  role involves  food order preparation, presentation and various trading hours spread across mornings and evenings preparing hot and cold beverages with face to face customer  engagement. 

THE VIBE CURATOR

(More than a Barista. An Engager,  A Motivator.)

·       The Café Stage: An authentic 1967 Split-Screen VW Van inside Pinnacle Fitness Studio.

·       The Mission: Fueling the fitness community and the local public with 60s soul and high-performance caffeine and healthy food choices. 

·       BarBossa a casual scene with a relaxed feeling, comfort food, beer and rum concotions.

·       The Hotel Lounge and Bar : serves up exciting cocktail creations and food fare to suit in a harbour facing, vinyl playing lounge.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

We aren’t looking for someone to just "push buttons." We need a Vibe Curator who:

·       Knows their Beans: You can pull a perfect double-shot and froth milk like an artist.

·       Knows their Way: around a food servery area to serve up healthy food options. 

·       Has "Pinnacle" Energy: You can cheer on a gym member after a brutal leg day and pivot to a charming "Good Morning" for a local shopper.

Chef credentials

·       NVQ Level 2 Food Production certificate or equivalent.

·       Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.

·       Strong literacy and numeracy skills.

·       Proven experience as a Chef in a busy, client-facing environment.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.

·       Flexibility to work under pressure and across various shifts and service times.

·       Strong leadership abilities, setting and maintaining high standards.

·       Proficient in time management and organisational skills.

·       Analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement innovative solutions.

·       PC literate.

·       Advanced Food Safety or Health and Safety qualification

·       A genuine passion for food, produce, and hospitality

o   T2 v Dub Early starts (7:45am prep for 8am opening).

o   BarBossa  Friday / Satrday and Week nights as the season comes om.

·       Experience: Previous experience is essential and a "Vibe-First" attitude is non-negotiable.
