C&O Ltd are looking to recruit a full-time Plant Machinery Engineer to join our busy Isle of Wight depot.
This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of construction and other machinery within a well-established dealership.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out PDI inspections on new machines

Perform servicing and routine maintenance

Complete arrival checks on incoming stock

Action manufacturer recalls and updates
-
Fitting hitches to new machines
-
Fitting aftermarket attachments
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
-
Maintain accurate job records using our workshop APP in a timely manner
-
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements

Participate in the on-call rota for breakdown support
The Ideal Candidate
-
Previous experience as a plant, agricultural, vehicle or HGV engineer
-
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Organised with good attention to detail

Full UK driving licence essential

Manufacturer training ( SANY, NC, Massey Ferguson etc.) an advantage but not essential
