Are you a creative, detail-oriented person with a passion for design and print? We’re looking for a Designer & Print Assistant to join our small but busy print business! If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment, creating eye-catching designs, and seeing your work come to life in print, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing artwork for a wide variety of print products, particularly funeral stationery
- Preparing files for print and ensuring high-quality output
- Operating and maintaining digital printing and finishing equipment
- Assisting with customer enquiries and advising on design and print options
- Managing print production from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met
- Helping with general duties, including stock management and order processing
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- A good eye for design, layout, and typography
- Knowledge of faith based worship and liturgy will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of print production processes (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly and empathetic attitude
- A friendly and engaging team player
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
