Are you a creative, detail-oriented person with a passion for design and print? We’re looking for an Apprentice Artwork Assistant to join a small but busy print business. If you enjoy working in a hands-on environment, creating eye-catching designs, and seeing your work come to life in print, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy print business, whilst also studying for a professional qualification with HTP Apprenticeship College.

Key responsibilities:
- Designing artwork for a wide variety of print products, particularly funeral stationery
- Preparing files for print and ensuring high-quality output
- Assisting with customer enquiries and advising on design and print options
- Ensuring deadlines are met
- Helping with general duties, including enquiries and order processing
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with design software (InDesign, Photoshop) and IT confidence
- A good eye for design, layout, and typography
- Basic knowledge of print production processes to inform design decisions (training provided)
- Very strong attention to detail and ability to work under some pressure
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly and empathetic attitude
- A friendly and engaging team player, with the ability to make suggestions as well as to take advice
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
