Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice

Full time Administrator required for a small care company in the Ryde area.

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Hours of work are 9am till 5pm 5 days per week (37.5 hours a week)

As our Administrator, you will be responsible for all the administrative duties within the company.

Successful candidates will need:

*         An organised and accurate approach.

*         Excellent time management.

*         Good customer service skills.

*         Good written and verbal communication skills.

*         The ability to work well as part of a team.

*         A good working knowledge and competence in Microsoft Office and Windows based operating environments, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Explorer.

*         You will also be the kind of person who can engage easily with our service users, always treating them with dignity and respect. It is hoped that applicants will have had the following experience of working unsupervised in a busy administrative environment, where it is important to use your own initiative (Essential)

*         Managing HR and recruitment matters (desirable)

Responsibilities and Duties

Your main duties will be as follows:

·         Managing the administration of all staff recruitment.

·         Auditing and updating staff files regularly to meet with current standards.

·         Keep up to date with employment law and legislation

·         Managing the administration and completion of mandatory training.

·         Managing the supplies and maintenance of the care home

·         Collating staff time sheets and liaising with the accountant to produce accurate wages.

·         Various administrative duties required by the Registered and Operations Managers to deliver CQC standards.

 

Pay:

·         £8.75-£10.75 per hour depending on experience

 

Apprenticeship standard:

Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship 18-month s+ 3 months End Point Assessment.

Functional Skills if not already achieved a GCSE C (or above) in Maths

There is a requirement to complete off job training, College attendance will contribute but time spent either learning something new, other courses or any support work you that is not your usual role will also be counted

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £6.40 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
