Tidal Family Support is a community-based, not-for-profit, child-focused charity that works with families directly impacted by separation or divorce.
Tidal Family Support seeks a Business Administration Apprentice to provide administration and reception duties at their child contact centre based in Ryde.
The main duties of this role are
Being the first point of contact for all visitors to the centre
Answering phone calls, taking messages and recording as required
Showing service users to the contact room or waiting room, offering and making tea / coffee
Assisting with keeping the centre clean and tidy in between contacts
Supporting Senior staff with administration support, for example making up terms and conditions packs
Maintaining record keeping, scanning in paperwork when a wet signature is required and saving to family file stored electronically

Able to deliver excellent Customer Service
IT literate
Confident use of the English Language
Attention to detail when recording messages and data
Able to communicate confidently and deal with conflict
Excellent interpersonal skills, showing compassion and understanding
Knowledge of safeguarding
Empathetic
Being able to 'read the room'
Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS
Training Provided
The successful candidate will be working towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with HTP Apprenticeship College.
Candidates may need to achieve maths and English at GCSE or equivalent Grades A-C (9-4) or Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English before completing the Apprenticeship standard.
Off-the-job training will be provided, where you will have the time to complete your portfolio work, attend off-job training seminars and have allocated time for mentoring and being shadowed.

This is a fixed-term role for 18 months.
Working hours: 33 hours per week. Tuesday - Saturday, varied between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm
