Application Support Engineer
Netguides are looking to recruit an application support engineer to join our support team. You will be supporting our customers in their set up and use of SaaS products such as our ‘GemaPark’ holiday park booking system.
The ideal candidate will have very good organisational and interpersonal skills. You must be competent at learning and using computer packages and be good with numbers. The right applicant will have a friendly telephone manner and be able to manage a busy ticket based service desk. Full training on the product and processes will be provided.
The job entails:
- Being a first line point of contact for GemaPark customers over the phone and via our service desk. This includes but is not limited to resolving support issues such as document changes, tariff changes, report updates and configuration updates, general queries and knowledge support, no programming skills are required.
- Configuring new customers on the GemaPark system.
- Performing system testing on new developments as well as replicating and logging reported errors.
- Maintaining training materials and other product documentation
Ideally, in time, you will also be able to deliver web based customer training using web meeting software. Some HTML experience would be a bonus.
This is a full time job and is based in our office in Cowes. It is not a home based job.
