Part-Time Office Receptionist & Guest Services
(Permanent role – 3 days a week, including weekends and holiday /sickness cover)

We’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and super-organised person to join our lovely team at Tapnell Farm as a Receptionist & Guest Services assistant. This part-time role is perfect if you love chatting with people, helping others, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes!

About the Role:
You'll be one of the first friendly faces (or voices) our customers and guests encounter – whether they’re calling, emailing, or popping into the office. You’ll be handling all sorts of queries, helping out with bookings, selling our merchandise, and supporting the wider team with admin and guest care.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Answering phone calls and emails

• Helping guests with bookings, questions, and general info

• Taking payments over the phone and liasing with the accounts department
• Helping all departments with general office requests 

• Using our ticketing system for bookings, refunds, and payments

• Selling and tidying merchandise from The Hub & Guests Services area

• Keeping the office stocked and organised 

• Accepting deliveries and making sure they get to the right place

• Booking ferries for guests, partners, and team members

• Supporting the accommodation team and liaising with housekeeping and maintenance

• Booking Childrens Parties and the follow up admin for these

• At the weekends you will be working on your own in the office and the first point of call for our guests and visitors. 

We’d Love to Hear from You If You:

• Enjoy talking to people and providing great customer service

• Can juggle a few tasks at once

• Are a team player who’s also happy working independently

• Have solid computer skills (Word ,Google Sheets & Excell)

• Are positive, proactive, and people-focused

• Have experience in a customer-facing role 

The Details:

• 3 days a week, including weekends

• You will be needed to cover and holidays and sickness cover, when needed. 

• Permanent part-time position

• Please note, your own transport is required for this role as Tapnell Farm is only on a seasonal bus route.
