BOOKKEEPER & ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

MBJ Motor Factors is a well established small friendly business, we are looking for a Full-Time Client Bookkeeper & Payroller, with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our inclusive team based in Cowes.

Key duties include:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Bank and Credit card reconciliation
  • Submitting VAT returns
  • Credit Control
  • Managing supplier payments
  • Posting Journals
  • Reconciling control accounts
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing year end file for our accountants
  • Answering the telephone to our valued customers
  • Payroll: Sick Pay,Maternity Pay, Setting up new payroll schemes

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Well organised and able to work off their own initiative
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours a week with the option of some remote working if needed.
